223D developmental is dedicated to quality engineering. This is a project and very simple website dedicated to tuning components for the Smart 700cc engine. This Engine was fitted into the Smart 700cc petrol 450 and 452 (Roadster)
We only get made components that add or have some advantage over the original components.

If you do nothing else to your engine this is the upgrade to do. The Pistons and the rods are the Achilles heal on these engines with them changed this engine goes from an "Also Ran" to a "Contender"

This graph is the output from a real dyno on my engine (not a simulation)
This is real life, on the dyno. It has totally changed the car now I need to find some time and give it some road manners. This is using the MC86S cam (a solid lifter version of the MC83 cam) and it has solid lifters. Also the original inlet manifold has been replaced with a larger capacity unit with a 40mm Throttle Body.
All this from a 700cc engine!
Next stage is to try and break the 200hp mark. For that we working on more boost and a 44mm Throttle body.

On this website i use outputs graphs from a simulation software. These graphs are for comparison only and should be used in that way. They all assume a standard engine in good mechanical condition and a Turbo that can generate 1.5bar of boost at whatever RPM is shown and at whatever engine load.
